A state-of-the-art portable ultrasound machine gift for the CT Unit.

The CT team at the Kent & Canterbury Hospital now has the use of a first-class portable ultrasound machine, thanks to the hospital’s League of Friends. On 20 July 2017 the League officially handed over the new machine to the CT unit, replacing an older model which had come to the end of its life. The new, state-of-the-art, equipment cost £28,000, £20,000 of which came from the League’s central funds, £7,000 from its St Stephen’s & St Dunstan’s group and £1,000 from the Barham & Kingston group.
