Turning Beds

Helping to prevent pressure sores

Two 15 degree turning beds costing £3,333 received funding from the League’s Chartham group plus a £1,650 contribution from the Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation. The beds help prevent pressure sores and increase the quality of life for long-term permanently immobile or very sick patients. They also help prevent staff back injuries.
