2017 Christmas Gift Packing

Patients who have to spend Christmas in Kent & Canterbury Hospital have not been forgotten by the hospital’s League of Friends again this year. A team of League volunteers packed around 700 gifts for children, teenagers and adults to be distributed to children attending clinics and in-patients over the festive period. Children will receive teddy bears, colouring books and toys; adults will receive toiletries, diaries and pen/pencil sets. Patients in Thomas Becket Ward, Oncology and the Day Hospital will also receive the gifts. Well done to the Shops Manager for organising this and to all the volunteers who gave up their free time to assemble the gifts.
